The 3500 Series Two Pre-Amplifier was introduced in 1980 and remained in production through 1982. Its specifications were nearly identical to those of the 3300, but had the addition of a moving coil phono section; the 3300 had provision for only moving magnet phono cartridges. List price when introduced was $650 but rose to $725 in 1981. As can be seen the 3300 and 3500 differed considerably in appearance.
